Our Five Favourite Elements of Pippa Middleton’s Wedding Day
Over the weekend, the beautiful wedding of Pippa Middleton and James Matthews’ took place. We were all patiently waiting for that first glimpse of the big day. We have selected our favourite five elements that we loved about their wedding day.
1. The Dress
Pippa’s gown was stunning. The gorgeous Giles Deacon wedding dress screamed English elegance, but on Pippa–it was perfection! We love how the beautiful bride’s figure was just the perfect silhouette for her fully laced, high-necked, cap-sleeved gown.
2. The Flower Girls and Pageboys
They were a picture amongst themselves with their matching Pepa and Co. outfits and shoes. The little pageboys in their collared, double-breasted polos, knee-length trousers, and high socks were adorable! The flower girls in white, with puffy sleeves and ruffled necklines. The pretty pink bow was super cute too.
3. The Car
It’s not every day that you see newlyweds driving themselves out of the church! The couple made their way to the Middleton estate in a Jaguar E-Type.
4. The Groomsmen
We love seeing a non-traditional wedding wear, Micheal was wearing striped trousers and a morning suit, with a sky-blue waistcoat and maroon polka dot tie creating a debonair look.
6. The Flowers
Pippa’s bouquet was small but a perfect size for her, with the flower girls carrying heart-shaped wreaths made of waxflower and gypsophila tied together with ribbon. A beautiful combination of peonies, freesia, sweet peas, waxflowers, and astilbe was used to create stunning floral displays made by the Lavender Green.
All in all a breathtaking wedding day, congratulations Pippa and James.
